It Just Slipped.

Today, I had a lunch meeting with another person that I work with, and a client.  I was the second to arrive, just after our client.  We sat and visited for a bit, and then my co-worker joined us, just a few minutes late.  He sat next to me on one side of the table.

We were having mexican food, it was all super yum.  One of my favorite local places.

We were sitting discussing the work things that we had come there to discuss, and my co-worker slid around in his seat, and was straightening his pant leg, or something equally fussy. 

He actually tipped himself to the side a little bit, and let out a giant fart.

Giant.  Loud.  Stinky.  Fart.

Then he changed the subject and acted like it never happened.

I was dying inside.

Laughing hysterically inside my brains.

Lost track of what I was saying, and had to start over because the ginormous fart made me lose my train of thought.

I actually don’t think our client heard him.  It was kind of loud in there, and he was on the opposite side of the table.  Then again, it was a really loud fart, so he very well could have heard it.

I just hope that our client doesn’t think that I was the one who did it.
