It Glows

After going back and forth with our new “hair girl” she and I decided that she would braid extensions into her hair this time.
I told Mea about it last week. She has been talking about getting “Rapunzel” hair ever since. Almost to the point that she was driving me crazy.
When today finally came she was excited and nervous. Excited for long hair, nervous because she is a little on the tender headed side of things.
She has always sat quite well for her stylist. I can see her wincing every now and then, but she doesn’t scream at her. That is saved for Momma.
While we were on our way to her stylist’s house, she brought up the Rapunzel hair again.
Then she said this, “Momma, do you think my new Rapunzel hair will glow when I sing, like the Rapunzel from the movie? Wouldn’t that be so awesome?”
Yes, it would be pretty awesome.
When Miss S, the braider extraordinaire, finished the braiding, she had finish off the ends. This is synthetic hair, so she uses a lighter to melt the ends together
Mea’s eyes got so big, and she looked up at me and said, “Momma, my hair is really going to glow now!”
So true, my little Rapunzel, so true.

What a cute hairstyle!
It really did turn out cute. In this picture all the braids are braided so that they would “have wave.” They are really cute down, and she just thinks she is something else! Whipping her head all around, braids flying everywhere.
What great hair! And Mea always glows.
I’m with Libby on this one, Mea always glows! I love the hair and am glad she liked it too.
