>Goodbye Carmel Latte…

>Goodbye delicious Carmel Latte.
Goodbye land line telephone.
Goodbye Premium Channels from Direct TV.
Goodbye other things I can’t quite think of yet.

My husband lost his job yesterday.

To say that I’m freaking out, may be the understatement of the century.

Some of the things I’m saying goodbye to, I had already planned on saying goodbye to.  The other things that I haven’t thought of yet, I’m sure are the ones that may be more painful to get rid of.  Like Mea’s gymnastics, or Mack’s school, or I don’t even know what.

Let’s just say a quick prayer that he’s able to find something quickly, with good insurance (mine sucks, and we’d be better off on Cobra) that pays him about the same.

Please don’t let him be one of those 10% who can’t find anything forever.

My sitter is such a dream.  When I told her yesterday, she told me that Mea can come anytime he has an interview and she’ll watch her for free.  I don’t expect her to do that, but it’s still super nice of her to offer.  Hopefully he can set up interviews while she’s in school, so it won’t come to that.

I am just sick.

But I’m trying to hope for the best.

    >Oh no! I am so sorry. I know how you must feel. It's a terrible mix of sad, worried, angry…lost. My husband was laid off for almost a year and I was only working part time. We had to scrimp and save every which way we could but it is totally doable. Thinking of you.
