Eat Your *#(@! Vegetables!

I am starting to think about Christmas shopping.  It’s about that time.

I am always on the search for unique, fun things to find my oldest daughter.  I have gotten her some interesting things over the years.  Smencils, a picture frame that has a notepad of paper mounted around it so she could create her own frame.  Last year I found her an instant camera, a new one, that we can actually buy film for, unlike the antique Polaroid that we found at a thrift store.

I have bought her funky t-shirts, purses, music, and countless videos.  I always try to find cool stuff that my arty girl will like.

Right now, I’m kind of stuck.  I need to put my thinking cap on.

This year for her birthday, I found these awesome plates on Etsy.

I really loved these.  Who else is going to be there to tell you to eat your bleeping vegetables, if not your Momma?  Now, even though she’s all big, and has her own apartment, I can still boss her around, even if it’s by means of these snarky plates.

I also bought her these hand towels for their bathroom on Etsy as well.

You Look Pretty Today...

Your Momma always tells you that you look pretty.  It’s a Momma’s job.  This is my way of telling Mack everyday that she is pretty and that I love her, whether I see her or not.

Put the Seat Down...

This I thought would be funny for any gentleman, or not so gentleman callers, visiting Mack and her roommate.  Apparently, between the plates and the towels, all their friends think I’m a little crazy.  But, that’s a good thing.  There is always that element of the unknown.

For Mack’s birthday, I also bought her a few fridge magnets from Barb you can visit her Etsy shop here.

Barb makes lots of really funny, magnets and tiles.  I love them.  Mack does too.  The ones I bought for her birthday are vegetable ninja’s.  I just bought a few more today, to stick in her stocking that are equally cool.

Stop the Jackassery!

This one is my favorite.  Please go show Barb some love, and look at her other items for sale!

If anyone thinks of any ideas for Mack for Christmas, I am open to any ideas you can give me.  For seriously.

I’m so not the cool gift idea lady. I love all these that you’ve gotten her, but it would never have occurred to me. I’d probably buy her art supplies or something lame like that. Best of luck.

Every year I have a tshirt made for Ryan off Etsy. I can’t decide what this year’s will be.
