Booty Dance

Last night, Mea had gymnastics.  It was really cute.  All the kids were encouraged to bring a gymnastics doll, primarily, they were talking about last year’s American Girl, 2012 Doll of the Year, McKenna, but did say they could bring any doll with them to class.

Mea has a couple of dolls that are similar to an American Girl doll, but not an actual AG one as of yet, she does have a Bitty Baby, but I was informed that she is a baby, and couldn’t possibly come to gymnastics.  It is quite possible that she could be getting an American Girl doll for her birthday this year, but you never know.  Needless to say, we do not have a leotard for any of her AG knock offs either.

They are not gymnasts.

She does have a stuffed puppy from Build A Bear, that we made last year who is a gymnast.  She has a leotard, a matching hair bow and everything.  So Lilly the puppy came with us to gymnastics.

It was really cute, they had their dolls, or animals do stretches with them.  If the girls could hold onto them they went on the bars and beam with them.  They ran laps together.  Pretty sure that I watched Mea do a one-armed cart-wheel while holding Lilly.  Takes some skillz that her mother most definitely does not have, I can tell you that for sure.

When we got home last night, after we had a bite to eat, she was still running around in her leo, being a goof ball.  I was trying very hard to get her into her pajamas, but was not winning the battle.  Finally, after I agreed to video tape her doing a dance, I was able to convince her that after I recorded her doing her dance that she had to put her pajamas on.

She is something else.  I have never known a girl who is so gassy, and who couldn’t be prouder of it, as my youngest child is.  I am surprised that I am not washing dirty underpants every five minutes.
